Here is a selection of some of my characters. Most of the characters I create are later used in animations, but the process of developing one often inspires ideas for others. Some of these characters have also been further developed into comics or featured in various illustrations.
Here you can see analogue and digital illustrations of the character building up.
CUCUBIRD is my graduation character design. The main goal was to create a simple yet memorable character. A key focus was designing the metamorphosis in a way that maintains and communicates the core message throughout the transformation.

The creation of Blown by the Wind on a White Horse (or Blo) began during my character design classes at Kookmin University. I took the initiative to challenge myself by filling pages with unique characters made from watercolor blobs. From this process, Blo emerged and later became the central figure in a short comic.
Characters from The Bathroom Project (a group project). I was the lead for character design, while others focused on backgrounds and storyboarding. It was an interesting project where I mainly worked on developing the relationships between the characters.
